So are you thinking to become a fitness model? It’s not surprising if you are under the influence of fitness and health regime thanks to social media platforms. Well, you are not alone in this decision.  Social media sets trend faster than a meteorologist can predict a weather forecast. Undoubtedly, fitness models are killing it across all social media platforms; Instagram is one hot commodity for influencers for a while now.

You may be in great shape, follow a keto diet, have a near to perfect BMI but your passion for fitness and health will let you take the necessary leap to become a fitness model.

It’s Time to Understand the Industry First

Before you decide to enter the fast track career as a fitness model, understand what you are getting into. Are you a professional athlete? Do you have enough muscle and rocking abs and ass to show? It’s vital to understand what kind of body you have because you are technically going to market your body!

Like any other industry, you need to learn about the ups and downs that come with the career. Physical fitness is the foremost part of being a fitness model.

 

All the necessary tools are already there all you need is a more than perfect portfolio and a model agency at your back.

 

It is easier said than done. The one groovy mistake that young talent is prone to do is “overdoing their thing”. Rocking abs and ass will not let you get anywhere if you solidly rely on photoshops, so look out for this.

Besides that, you need to have experience in fitness and health too, it’s not just about a fancy high profile photoshoot with weights and dumbbells. Sharing your personal experience counts the best way to enter the market these days, so you’d better watch out the competition.

Speak your Body Language to Become a Fitness Model Influencer

Fitness, muscles, and good health all are major assets for your body. Body language speaks a thousand words so you need to work on your physical fitness.

Make sure you are happy with your body. Avoid conveying the negativity like, “oh I used to hate my body!” that's not the image you want to create. Instead, go with “I loved myself the way I was, but I wanted to move towards better things, to adopt change…” it will add a much-needed optimism a follower needs to know.

 

Go see a nutritionist, get a solid diet plan, and hire a personal trainer who you have great chemistry to work with.

 

It's a full-time gig and if you know how to train your body into a new workout regime and eating a healthy lifestyle then you've figured out half of your future career.

A lean, muscular, and tanned body sounds great, but how does it appear to your personality matters too. Yeah, you need to look great, what people are unable to understand fitness models is that they have to exercise a lot!

Exercise helps to build endurance and more than often a fitness models need to show his/her followers their daily fitness workout regimes, to better connect with them. You may do 20 push-ups to get one perfect shot to capture the essence of the moment!

It's not just about having abs, is about being able to do the fitness regime and being able to carry the weight as a fitness model. Your body must ooze confidence because competition in the fitness world is nigh.

 

Keep an eye out for beauty and fitness pageants, in between shoots, and how does a swimsuit competition sound to you? Fitness agency scouts love a diverse portfolio.

 

Always watch the videos, photos, practice your movements in front of the mirror to strike a killer pose in front of the camera. Don’t be coy!

The hard work and sweat pay off at the right time. Fitness modeling can groom some major opportunities for you. you get introduced to a lot of people, sponsors, and even get to work with international brands promoting a fitness line. Who knows you may become the next Nike model?!

Once you enter the world of fitness modeling you get a lot of side role opportunities as will like “contributing as a trainer” which is immensely cool too. It’s like you can make side pocket money. You can share tips, a workout plan, your eating habits, or even make your followers give an insight of your training life.

Fitness modeling is a brand of its own; you can model and be a trainer simultaneously.

 And so it may happen you find the love of your life on this platform! The couple who fitness model together, stays together!

 

The bottom line is to stay calm and focus throughout your fitness modeling career

Fitness models must remain in good shape despite their age. Picture this; muscles are like pasta if you overdo them you can actually spoil the body image you were aiming for. Make sure while you are at it, you keep enjoying the moments!

Start a portfolio, fulfill the basic requirements, work behind the camera with various photographers. It's so that you will feel comfortable in what direction he may lead. Do you think fitness modeling is hard? To try a career as a nude fitness model, it's harder and takes real guts to become one.

Last but not the least, rejection is a part of the game. So, if you are rejected don't take it on your heart, take it out in the gym by perfecting your weak spots. Do not let the big NO stop you to become what you want! A good model knows when to hit the brakes and when to look fabulous.

You can feel sore or you can feel sorry, it’s your choice.
