Age Catching Up To You? Top Tips To Feel Young

You can’t beat age. It creeps up on all of us. But you can take steps to feel better about yourself both mentally, and physically. If you’re feeling like age has caught up with you recently you certainly won’t be alone. Also, it catches up to people at different times. Someone in their 30’s could notice they’re a lot more tired after something like a house move, or someone in their 50’s might begin to slow down physically. Here are some ways you can inject some vitality into your life and feel better about yourself. 

Try Supplements

Supplements can help you feel far better in yourself and promote healthy aging. A key example of supplements that can help with the aging process are those that can boost your NAD+. NAD is a limited resource that naturally reduces with age. As you get older, there’s less of it in your body. NMN is a supplement that contains NAD. Your body turns NMN into NAD. So, what does NAD and NMN actually stand for:

NAD: nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide

NMN: nicotinamide mononucleotide

As all of the cells in the human body require NAD to function properly, and NAD levels decline with age, it makes sense to use an NMN supplement to slow aging and to protect against age related disorders. 

If you’re looking for a boost, you can help your body help itself by using supplements. There are of course many different supplements available for you to take. You can focus on general vitamins and multivitamins, or you can go for something like NMN supplements which are better geared towards helping you out with the aging process. There’s even evidence that NMN can help brain function

Up Your Water Consumption

The majority of people are constantly dehydrated. They don’t drink enough. If you feel like you don’t drink enough you’d be surprised how much better you’d feel if you became regimented with water consumption. Being hydrated gives you energy. Remember, it’s recommended that men consume 3.7 liters while women consume 2.7 liters. The guidance varies depending on where you live but if you’re drinking far below that amount you should try to up your water game. Try and keep a bottle near you at all times so you’ve got a constant reminder and also set goals. You can buy water bottles with markers on them so you know exactly how much you need to drink throughout the day. Once you’ve gotten into the habit of drinking the right amount of water it’ll all become a lot easier. 

Don’t Stop Exercising

As you age, exercising can become a lot harder. This does not mean you need to stop it entirely. Exercise is always going to be good for you. You may just need to dial it down a bit. Perhaps run for a shorter distance, or run it more slowly. If your body is taking too long to recover it’s telling you that you’re overdoing it. Stopping entirely wouldn’t be good for you unless a doctor recommends it. If you don’t exercise at all, it’s probably worth starting. You can start out with walking or something slow paced. If motivation is what stops you, consider team sports. Cycling is also a great way to get into exercise because you can take it easy at first. If you’re really struggling with direction there are some great resources online as well as the option to find a personal trainer.

Clear The Skin

If you’re feeling old then doing something about the skin can help work wonders. For example if you’ve got eczema it’s important to find the best eczema cream for you to clear the flare up. This might not necessarily be something that’s anti-aging in nature but it’ll make you feel a lot better about yourself, especially if you’ve only just started suffering from eczema. Focusing on making the skin look clearer really does go a long way in making you feel young again.
