Drinking a minimum of six cups of water daily after the accident is crucial. Intake of extra fluids can help your body to reduce inflammation.

You require to intake more vitamin C in your diet after the accident. The vitamin will also reduce inflammation and help your body to repair the damaged tissue quickly. The electrolytes produced by vitamin C will help you to neutralize the free radicals that can enhance inflammation.

You should also avoid drinking sodas during the recovery time after the accident. The high fructose corn syrup in these drinks can interrupt the production of collagen in your body.

Collagen is a crucial component when you are trying to heal from muscle tears as a part of cohesive whiplash treatment in Calgary.

– Conduct light exercises.

While you want to avoid physical contacts like sports and weightlifting, doing the right exercises can be crucial during the recovery process. You should go for a walk on the flat surface that can help you get out of bed and stretch your muscles.

It is better that you immediately seek rehabilitation treatment. This way, you would be able to decrease the risk of chronic ailments. Musculoskeletal injury specialists like chiropractors and physiotherapists can assess injuries and prepare a well-designed treatment plan.
