Besides that, it can improve your memory and concentration since more oxygen goes to the brain. You could also avoid issues such as diarrhea and abdominal pain. That is because the digestive system relies on good blood flow to break down food and transport helpful nutrients throughout the body.

Some symptoms of poor blood circulation are cold, numb or tingling feet and hands, fatigue, brittle nails, and pale skin. If you experience these, consider boosting your blood circulation by swimming more often. This low-impact activity is essential, especially if you have an issue that requires you to avoid putting pressure on your bones, joints, muscles, or knees.
