Today we will sit together and make your next weekend epic as we have compiled a fantastic list of great locations that you need to see. Cut the chase of targets, meetings, and clients. Treat yourself in the best way and choose one of these locations to explore with your friends, family, or maybe just solo. 

1-2 DAYS Weekend Getaway 

Here is a list of locations where the distance is within 200 km. This means you will take just a few hours to reach your destination and you can come back the same day or the next day at max depending on how long you wish to stay at the destination. 

  •  Sohna

A nearby weekend getaway option is Haryana's lush green and refreshing town. If you wish to take a break from the chaotic city life of Delhi then just pick up your car and leave for this town in the foothills of Aravali. It’s a quiet place where you can explore various popular spots too like

  • Medicinal water spring
  • Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva
  • Damdana Lake 
  • Resorts and Retreats

Visit this nearby by the town to rest and reset yourself for the coming days to hustle better.

  1. Neemrana 

is a  historical fort where you can come to admire the beauty of the past and as well as rest and relax in the lap of nature. This lush green fort is from the 15th century and was later turned into a luxury fort. One can easily drive here as it’s on Delhi-Jaipur Highway, NH 8. One can stay here and enjoy the luxury amenities like spa, swimming, etc One can also come for a grand meal here.

Distance & Time: 145.7 km, 2 hours 42 minutes

Best time to visit: September to February 

Expenditure: 4k to 5k Per Person and if you wish to stay then it might cost you around 12k to 15k Per Night

  • Alwar

One of the oldest cities of Rajasthani is your quick weekend getaway to immerse yourself in rich Rajasthani culture. It’s a quiet place to be in and this is also where you can visit the popular haunted fort of Bhangarh. There are many other forts and ruins from the past that can be witnessed to touch the past. One can travel to Alwar via NH 48. Some other spots one can see in Alwar are:

  • Sariska Tiger Reserve
  • Siliserh Lake 
  • Bala Quila

4.Mathura

If you are looking for a religious getaway to experience the peace within, Mathura is the best place to visit. The land of Lord Krishna is much popular amongst the devotees. This sacred birthplace of Krishna is a town that shelters various temples. The most crowded time is during the Janmashtami which is believed to be the birthday of Lord Krishna. Some must visit temples are:

  • Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple complex
  • Dwarkadhish Temple
  • Gita Mandir
  • Govardhan Hill
  • Radha Kund

3-4 DAYS Weekend Getaway

5.Dehradun

This capital of Dehradun is also known as the Educational Hub of Uttarakhand. Be part of nature and feel the vibes by touching the flora and fauna here with your own hands.

  1. Chandigarh

The first planned city of India deserves the hype it gets. 7. Manali

This popular hill station of Himachal needs no introduction. Another amazing weekend getaway is Delhi to Manali. Here you can rest in the lap of magnificent nature and see snow-covered mountains the entire year. The Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal are the best views you can come for.   1. Bikaner

The place is also popular for its Ivory and Lacquer ornaments that are quite reputed in the entire India.
